it's been ages since i last updated this thing.
i moved out to downtown long beach not to long ago. prior to move in, i wasn't too keen on the idea of living in long beach, but it turned out to be a great place. i love it here. everything i need is in walking distance. i'm a few blocks away from the ocean; tons of restaurants, bars, movie theaters, and little shops right downstairs. in addition to all that- i like the diversity here- from homeless to upper class; black, white, asian, hispanic, etc.; young, old; even the buildings are diverse with new next to old; highrises next to homes; colonial homes next to spanish next to generic pink stucco track-like homes, etc. it's really a great place to live.
here's a few random pictures of long beach (trying to get some use out of the new digi):

thanks to sweetvix3n... i got to see Mamma Mia</b>.
thanks to j... i am finally learning how to drive a stick shift. made it home in one piece so that's a good sign.
thanks to my department manager who is trying to get rid of me without laying me off...
i have an interview this thursday for a scheduler/planner position for a bp project. woo freakin hoo. *being sarcastic*
quite interesting how he tells me abt the position merely an hour after my boss left for vacation. the tug-o-war has been my source of entertainment for the past few weeks. the only reason i'm sticking around for all this bs is for the work experience.
after 1 1/2 yrs out in the "real world"... i've decided that the real world sux and my degree is worthless. thus, i will be going to go back to school to pursue a second bachelors in business with a concentration in management science (ie. isds). if it is possible, i will be taking lower division classes at the local community college this fall (ie. in 2 weeks).
i thought this would be cake... i started taking piyo (pilates/yoga) classes at the local 24 hour fitness. after attending 2 classes, i have come to the realization that i am NOT flexible and have NO sense of balance. but being the trooper that i am, i will continue taking this class until i master the art of un-natural stretching/flexing of the body.
